By accessing and using ChessBlock ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

ChessBlock is a blockchain-based chess gaming platform built on the TON network. Users can play chess games with cryptocurrency stakes, where winners receive 95% of the pot and the platform retains a 5% house edge.

3. Wallet Connection & Blockchain Transactions

To use ChessBlock, you must connect a TON-compatible wallet. All game transactions are executed on the TON blockchain and are irreversible. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys
• All transactions made through your connected wallet
• Understanding blockchain transaction fees (gas fees)
• Ensuring you have sufficient TON for game stakes and fees

4. Game Rules & Fair Play

ChessBlock games follow standard international chess rules. Players agree to:

• Play fairly without cheating, bots, or external assistance
• Accept that all game outcomes are final and recorded on-chain
• Understand that abandoned games may result in forfeiture

5. Financial Risk & Gambling Disclaimer

Important: Playing ChessBlock involves financial risk. You may lose your staked cryptocurrency. ChessBlock is a skill-based game, but outcomes are not guaranteed. Only stake amounts you can afford to lose.

6. Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to use ChessBlock. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Use automated bots or chess engines during gameplay
• Collude with other players to manipulate outcomes
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the platform
• Use the Service from jurisdictions where blockchain gaming is prohibited

8. Smart Contract Risks

ChessBlock operates via smart contracts on the TON blockchain. While audited for security, smart contracts carry inherent risks. Users acknowledge:

• Smart contract code is provided "as is"
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible
• Network congestion may cause transaction delays

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. ChessBlock may be unavailable due to maintenance, blockchain network issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

10. Limitation of Liability

ChessBlock and its operators are not liable for:

• Loss of funds due to user error (wrong addresses, lost keys, etc.)
• TON blockchain network failures or transaction delays
• Third-party wallet provider issues
• Hacking or security breaches of user wallets

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by international blockchain principles and applicable local laws. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration.
